Team Intandem reach their peak!
We recently enjoyed an adventurous and challenging team day in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales as we climbed one of the Yorkshire Peaks, Pen-y-ghent.
It was an exhilarating day led by employee engagement and team-building expert and Managing Director of Pro-Development, Michelle Mook, who guided us through a series of team-focused activities and tasks whilst we were on the climb. After months of remote working, it was a brilliant way to reconnect as a team and discuss our vision and goals for Intandem as we look to the future. Our time away really enabled us to get to know one another on a deeper level as we discussed our strengths and weaknesses and how the team can help our individual development.
The team day helped us to re-align and re-evaluate after the pandemic. We were able to revisit what it means to be part of the Intandem team in terms of trusting one-another, our work ethic, and our relationships within our team and with our clients. Wellbeing remains at the core of Intandem and there is no better way to take a breather from ‘everyday’ life and have the space to think and reflect than heading to the great outdoors, especially when it is as stunning as the Yorkshire Dales! We are so fortunate to have this beautiful National Park nearby.
After walking over 26,000 steps and climbing the equivalent of 160 floors, we were definitely ready for our evening in the pub relaxing, laughing and chatting as a team whilst enjoying a hearty tea and, finally a much-needed night’s sleep in the bunkhouse!
Following our time away, we are feeling refreshed and energised as we start to build on our learnings from the day and put the steps in place to help us achieve our ambitious vision using our solidified values.
Thank you to Michelle and Pro-Development for an eye-opening day and for positively guiding and pushing us, both physically and mentally. We hope to be back in the Yorkshire Dales soon!
