Rachel founded Intandem Communications in 2002 and is very much the driving force behind the business. With a science background and wide ranging career including exporting British grain, and promoting a £500 million construction company, she has helped numerous large and small businesses across Yorkshire and the UK to grow and expand. With a deep understanding of the PR and marketing world, she uses her profound knowledge, extensive list of contacts and experience to provide an effective and unique approach, helping clients transform an idea into reality.
A well-respected figure in York, Rachel was awarded York Press Business Personality of the Year 2015. She is vice-Chair of York Against Cancer and a former chair of York Professionals. Rachel loves walking and cycling in the Yorkshire Wolds and is always up for any crazy outdoor challenges!
Senior Account Manager
Alex handles the strategic planning of a client’s marketing needs, helping to create a plan that will make their vision a reality. Alex has built strong relationships with our clients and the wider Intandem team, coordinating and working together with them to achieve amazing results.
Alex has been part of the team since 2015 after moving from her previous role in an advertising and design agency where she was responsible for managing large equestrian accounts.
With horses and a (very small) flock of sheep, outside of work Alex is often found spending time in the countryside covered in mud!
Lottie works alongside her clients as an invaluable member of their team helping to drive their PR and marketing campaigns forward. She has a clear vision of what a client needs and is able to action it, giving straight forward advice and guidance.
With a first-class honours from York St. John University in International Business Management, Lottie uses her management skills to liaise with clients and build lasting relationships.
Lottie joined the team as an Account Executive in 2016 and has lived in York for over six years providing valuable insights into the daily goings-on in the city.
Mary is the linchpin of our office with her excellent administration and organisational skills helping to keep things running smoothly from day to day.
Mary joined the team having spent a year working in the property industry and with a degree in Fashion Communications. She is now putting the theory she learnt at university into practice developing creative and insightful content. She creates brilliant visuals and particularly enjoys managing the social side of our clients’ needs.
Mary’s love of fashion and interest in social trends helps to keep our clients one step ahead of the crowd!
