Rolling out the green carpet to achieve international media exposure
Leading Yorkshire turf specialist, Lindum, wanted to attract new customers for its living, roll-out reusable turf carpet, which can be used to transform corporate events, venues, exhibitions, weddings, and can even be shaped into grass furniture.
What was our solution?
We created a new brand identity for the product, renaming it Wow!Grass!, and developed a new, image-led website to showcase its versatility to potential customers.
Capitalising on the product’s wow factor, we generated several stand-out PR opportunities including transforming London’s Trafalgar Square for a long weekend, as part of the Visit London’s Villages Campaign and the Nave of York Minster for a special fundraising dinner.
Both resulted in spectacular imagery which captured the imagination of the media around the world. Highlights included Sky News and BBC Look North interviews and front pages of the Evening Standard, Yorkshire Post, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, Guardian and Metro and extensive radio coverage including Classic FM. The images were used by The Figaro, Wall Street Journal, The Wellington Post and the Huffington Post.
