Supporting Garbutt + Elliott’s 2020 Yorkshire Food & Drink Business Awards!

It has been a pleasure working with York and Leeds based chartered accountants Garbutt + Elliott to take their 2020 Yorkshire Food & Drink Business Awards virtual!

Having had to cancel the original awards ceremony planned for earlier this year, due to the Covid 19 pandemic, we worked with the Garbutt + Elliott team to make sure their virtual celebration was just as special for the businesses involved.

We  headed out on an ‘awards roadshow’ to meet many of the shortlisted businesses and winners with  Chef Consultant and Overall Winner Category Judge Stephanie Moon, who kindly presented some of the awards with the Garbutt + Elliott team We were on hand to shoot pictures and video for social media and PR content, which we rolled out as part of the virtual campaign.

This year’s overall winner was Malton Food Lover’s Festival which was recognised for its contribution to the Yorkshire food and drink industry and also won the Spirit of Yorkshire award. Other award winners included Gilly Robinson, Owner of the Cooks Place at Malton; Ripley-based distillery, Harrogate Tipple; Skyr yoghurt producer Hesper and Malton-based apple juice producer Yorkshire Wolds Apple Juice.

As director of Yorkshire Mark, Rachel judged the Brand of the Year category which she awarded to Binghams Food, a Sheffield-based potted meat and spreads producer.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Garbutt & Elliott team and meeting so many inspiring businesses across our fantastic county. Our congratulations go to all the winners and short-listers!
